They are NOT suitable on paper, canvas or card-stock.
UV Fusion Transfers are highly durable, they are made to be water-proof, scratch resistant and fade resistant due to the UV curing process.
To ensure the longest possible life for your transfers, it is best to hand wash decorated items.
The initial 24 hours following application are crucial, as this is when the adhesion gains strength. To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to avoid exposure to water during this time.

- Avoid touching the adhesive side of the transfer to prevent fingerprints and ensure proper adhesion.
- Store unused transfers in a cool, dry place to maintain their quality and prevent damage.
- By removing 1-2 cm of the backing paper ( larger transfers) and trimming it, you gain better control during the application process. This approach allows you to adhere the exposed adhesive section first before applying the entire transfer at once.
- Always slowly remove the backing paper, peeling too quickly can cause lifting or damage to the design
- While they are durable, we recommend hand-washing for the longest-lasting results.
- Take your time during alignment. Once placed, the transfer can not be repositioned.
- They work best on any hard, smooth non porous surface including glass, ceramic, sealed wood, plastic, vinyl, painted surfaces (acrylic paint or spray paint work best) and metal.
- For items like glassware, hand-wash with mild soap and avoid abrasive sponges.
- Do not put items that have been decorated in the microwave or dishwasher.
- Avoid using frosted glass.
To remove any finger oils, debris and dust you must clean the surface with either 70%–91% isopropyl alcohol or warm soapy water. Make sure to rinse off all the soap before drying.
Due to the permanent, instant-grab adhesive of UV Fusion Transfers, they cannot be repositioned once they make contact with a surface. Before removing the white backing sheet, hold the transfer against your surface to determine the precise placement.
To transfer a design, place it on a sturdy, flat surface and rub the white backing sheet with a squeegee or your fingers to adhere it to the clear film. Trim any excess from multiple designs, leaving a small border. Peel the white backing sheet away at a low flat angle, do not pull upwards. If any part of the design fails to stick, gently lay it back down, use your squeegee or a credit card and attempt to pull that particular area from a different angle. For finer and more intricate design elements, take your time.
Anchor one edge of the transfer to the surface. Slowly press down the rest of the design, smoothing it from the center outward to avoid trapping air bubbles. Pay extra attention to the intricate details. If any part of the design stays on the backing, press it back down, rub it firmly, and try peeling it again from a different angle.
For curved items, hold the transfer in a "U" shape. Let the centre touch the surface first, then slowly roll the sides down.
Once the transfer has been applied to the surface, use a squeegee, credit card, or your hands to firmly rub the transfer. Repeat this action 3-4 times to effectively activate the adhesive with the surface. Allow the transfer to rest on the surface for a few minutes before moving on to the next step.
Gently peel away the clear film at a low, flat angle, do not pull upwards. As you lift the clear film, monitor the design closely. If any part of the design comes up with the film, simply place it back down, press it firmly, and try peeling from a different angle.
After fully removing the clear film, use your finger or a soft cloth to lightly rub across the entire transfer, ensuring that all edges are firmly adhered to the surface.
Do not wash the item for at least 24 hours. The adhesive continues to bond and cure to the surface during this time.
